Just wanted to let the thread know that I've done 2 primary fluid changes on my 2014 with 7500 miles. I had a crazy slipping sound out of the primary last week, single occurrence. Bike ran normal after that but I was itching to look inside the cover and see if anything looked abnormal.
Tensioner and chain play looked perfect. I used harley brand at break in mileage first maintenance. The fluid was unbelievably thin, black and awful looking. I attribute this to my short rides to work and I get up on her pretty good when I ride. Replaced with moBil1, and changed the oil as well. BTW, I've used the same cover gasket twice now, no leaks.. Had to replace the plug washer as it was slightly torn. Bikes running fine. P.S. I don't think I'm going to wait till 20k to change tranny fluid. I'll be using redline shock proof again. I think I'll be sticking to 3k primary and oil changes due to my riding shabits. Also my freedom performance ammendment pipes and fp3 are working out really good. Cheers.

Dealer took care of my broken oil pressure switch free of charge. Glad to see HD stand behind a bike even when it is past warranty.
Asked the sales manager at my dealership about the 2018 LR and LR S and all I got was a general bag off claim about not knowing anything. Guess some dealers talk more than others.
