I bought it when I bought the bike. You need SOME kind of storage on the LR. Had one on my '06. I've been riding baggers for years and am spoiled. I just added waterproof saddlebags...
Agreed. Those look like throw-over bags. How do you like them, and what kind are they? Thanks.

I posted this in the "what did you do to you Dyna" thread but I'll post it here too.
Finally got the 110" big bore kit from Fuel Moto finished. After some hiccups on the initial assembly (stuck lifter that led to bent pushrod and bent valve) everything is running smoothly now. The guys at Fuel Moto were super helpful. Going to put some break-in miles on it today and get it dyno tuned soon.
My cell phone takes poor quality videos so the audio sucks but here's the startup video running at idle. Did a few heat cycles last night.
Cool video. Audio sounds okay to me. A nice rumbling beast.
I guess after hearing it in person, the audio in the video sounded off to me. The cam and heads gave it a nice deep tone and it sounds pretty good. I put the first 50 miles on it on Saturday and changed the oil. So far so good! I can't wait to see how much power it puts down, I'm guessing around 115hp/125lb-ft based on similar bikes.

Are you having it dyno'd? If so, would be interested in hearing the numbers. Your numbers sound right to me.
I take it your red LR draws plenty of attention in the UK? That is one good looking bike.
Thank you. Yes, people do look and make compliments!
Talking about saddlebags, I have these ones made by an outfit in Belgium called CS4. I have only used them a few times but they seem sturdy, full leather, are quite roomy and I can quite simply detach them using the Easybrackets system.

I know what you mean about the compliments. I have been at gas stations and stop lights when getting compliments and thumbs up for other motorists. The LR is the best looking HD.

The LR is a looker for sure! I also really like the looks of the Breakout...especially the pre 2018 models.
In case anybody is looking to do their exhaust, I just wanted to say V&H Big Shots are pretty nice. They look like individual pipes but have a hidden crossover so technically they are 2>1. Nice fit & finish, and I think they look & sound great. I didn't do the install, this bike came with them, which is one reason it was so appealing.
End of shameless drool session.
