Urban, maybe you can see in this photo. Yea,mine are further out, now I understand you have yours in tight. I probably will try tht too see whats better. So far I like it. Today was 52 and very windy, made a huge difference with the deflector.

I have been looking at a few bikes in the Dyna class.

1. Street Bob. Seat height 25.5/670lbs
2. Dyna WGlide. Seat height 25.5/683lbs
3. Now that I read this post(s), I'm getting the impression I should take a look at the Low Rider. Seat height 25.4/666lbs (I like the tach as well.)

Seems to me they all are the same height but not weight as we can see by the specs listed from HD.
What I'm not understanding, is the Center of Gravity for these bikes.
I get the impression the Low Rider has a lower CG from these post(s), is that correct or ?

Also I really like the looks of the 48/72 but not sure the 1200 will work after a while/travel.

Thanks,
Jim
The Low Rider has things that the Street Bob and WG don't have:

dual front disc brakes
adjustable bars
seat insert
tach

I did some tinkering today and have got mine a little lower to the headlight now (need to get some pics). I think this works/looks better than the way I had it. Mine is still not as low as yours but because I have the non-removable mount I'm able to pull it a little closer to the bars. The supports are at about a 10 degree angle now. Much better; thanks for pointing this out.

I found with the rear brake, I needed to raise the pedal, but there was not enough adjustment, so I fitted the rubber block, not too pretty, but it works! Hi fleetway - I'm interested in the V&H 16801 slip on but have been told its no louder than the stock item. What's you opinion?

Also, how much longer is it than standard? Can't really judge in the photos you posted.

You cant go wrong with any Dyna or Softail but I love the Low Riders braking system, wonder why its not on every model. At 5'7" the adjustable bars are a big plus as well. I sat on them all and I found the Low Rider and Slim fit me best. It was a toss up. Now I would add the Heritage to the top three for me in terms of feel.

At first I tried the sporties. I have an 01 Sportster but I sat on them all (new models) and liked the Iron and 48. Love the look of the 72 but didn't feel comfortable to me.
