Has anyone installed 12" Tbars? Only real issue is the brake lines. No one has that down yet as ive seen anyway. If someone has done it and can list the P/Ns that would be cool.

10" Tbars and yes brake lines are the issue. Need to be changed to longer than stock. I went with p/n hd #41800048
I put 14" west coast mx t-bars on and used part number 46790-09. It is Harley brand Diamond black brake line for 09 and up FXDF. It comes as a 2 piece (lower and upper). then i got a universal upper measuring 24" from drag specialties and a strait banjo adapter for the master cylinder. I will probably change out the strait for a 90 deg banjo. to get the line to lay nicer.
The low rider is a great riding bike, probably one of the best Harley has come out with in some time for it's class, with it's adjustable shocks and handlebars, and endless mods. Not super heavy of course, but enough weight to not get pushed around on the freeway by wind, or bottom out easily on potholes.. just good smooth riding and power (especially with a few mods). Smooth shifting. What happened to the Super Glide Custom....it must not of been able to compete with the low rider, so It must be why they pulled it, who knows? But the LR is a great bike and a nice bike by Harley. I wonder if it's thier best seller so far?? The competition was so...same ol cbr, Goldwing, horizontal twin BMW, nothing really new except for that release, everything is still the same as before, nothing new, and by new I mean better that it was previously. Anyone agree, disagree on this?

If doing 12" t-bars get a 22" upper brake line.
did you guys have any problems bleeding the brakes?

The Super Glide Custom will be back in a couple years "bigger and better" than ever. This new Low Rider is the first one since they discontinued the Low Rider model in 2009. HD does this every so often. They take a bike out of the line-up, then it reappears a few years later, tweeked a little, to get new buyers interested. The Super Glide has been around since 1972, it'll be back. Truthfully, the two bikes are so close, I think HD was worried that the Super Glide Custom would take away sales from the new Low Rider. IMHO, the Super Glide Custom was/is HD's best deal on a motorcycle. Of course, I'm a little biased!
