2014 Low Rider
As I have stated in previous threads my time frame for getting a Low Rider is Spring 2015.
My current bike, a 2011 GSXR 600 that I purchased new in May 2012, was just two years old and had well under 10,000 miles on it at the start of the year. I always planned to ride out 2014 on it.
Prior to May 2014, I had never even ridden a HD in 35 of years of riding. I went to a Demo Day event just to be able to say I have ridden some HDs. I was not expecting to find myself actual wanting one. However, after two demo rides on the LR, I really liked the comfort that the bike has.
In the meantime, I have looked at other HD models (Sportster, Street Bob, Fat Bob) as well as metric cruiser options and Victory/Indian. And everything has lead me back to the Low Rider.
The LR will be my next bike. I have done my due diligence and research. Now all I have to do is sell of my GSXR in the spring and get quotes from a 4-5 dealers. If the price is right on a left over 2014, I may go that way. Otherwise, it will either be the blue and white or the green paint on a 2015.
Not yet. Seen some good pics of actual bikes that were posted on Cycle Trader. I have checked a number of local dealers to see if they have any and, so far, none do. I looked at a good 8-9 dealers in my area and all had 2014 models and a few had some 2015s but the bikes were all black or silver and black.

Thanks for posting a pic. The LR is the best looking cruiser on the market in my opinion.
Being out the door price the fees, tax, title and license plates was in the amount also.
This was a great thread to see a year of progress on what owners have done to their bikes and over all impression of the bikes handling and performance.
Haven't seen any similar type thread on the other forum models. This one has been very useful for me to decide what to do over the winter to get it ready for the season.
