That's about the luck ike. I couldn't tell you where my rain sock is but I never really use it either.
well got the bike apart for paint again. Had to fix an area on the gas tank that was messed up and figured if I had to hope to get a tri coat matched again I'd just do the whole bike something different. It never ends with me.
Lost my rain sock about 2 weeks ago. Looked every where for it but it must have fallen out of my pocket. Needed to buy a replacement sock and thought such a thing would be $5 to $10. No, it was $25! Bet it costs K&N about a $1 to make it.
I have 2 rain socks for my Bagger as I still use the one from my wrecked 2011 and a brand new one, in reserve, from when I installed the SE Heavy Breather on the 2013. On another note I did 255 miles on the LR yesterday...

Got my new rain sock Friday. I will not misplace this one. I was finally able to get out for a ride after waiting 9 days to do so.
Use to be I would find this thread always on the 1st page. Now on page 4. Have most of the posters moved on to a newer model. I still have my 14 LR, but must admit that I have been looking at the new Sport Glide.
It's a slower moving thread now. I still have my s and none of the new softails speak to me. Got it apart for paint now. Really missing riding. Hope to have it together for the weekend.

Mine is partially apart too. Changing seat, turn signals, bars, mirrors. Hopefully get the mirrors in mail tomorrow and can get complete the minor project.

not too terribly minor. That's a decent amount of change. Pics when done.

I just got mine 5 months ago, and I love it. Maybe as the original owners let theirs go, people like me will fill the ranks a bit. I plan to have my LR for years to come Did I mention I love this bike?

Have you ridden the Sport Glide yet? I've kinda eyeballed them a little since they came out but a few weeks ago I did a demo ride event and test rode one. I gotta admit, I fell in love. I've never considered trading my low rider in but that bike really made me question if i would let my low rider go in favor of a shiny new Sport Glide. It just fit me perfect, ride quality was great, handling was great, plenty of power. Just a great feeling motorcycle.
