Dutch Bob is at 8 full turns and he and I weigh the same.

I want so bad for this kit to work for me and I don't want to go through all of the work to piece together and set up a valve/emulator/spring setup.

If I can't get this dialed in pronto I will probably go back to stock since at this point I honestly don't feel a huge difference...
well the difference is with the stock internals my bike was rock solid on the freeway up to 100+ mph...around town a little harsh at times but I could live with it...especially after upgrading my rear shocks.
The ricor/ traxxion spring setup can be done around $500 and is not hard to do. I was thrilled with the outcome. No plans on changing

Heck, can do it for $380 including amsoil and shipping right now if you're not using preload adjusters!

Well there ya go. I keep forgetting mine were more expensive because I had to buy the rebuild kits for both legs. (Powder coated the sliders)

But having dual or triple rate springs take away the point of having the single rate spring as a fixed value in the suspension equation and making the adjustments in the Ricor?

I know fabrik8r preached not using progressive winds because they limit the responsiveness of the Ricors, but in my personal experience, Works triple rates were a much better ride than my single rates. YMMV.

Hoping to hear more experiences with the Monotubes on Dyna's. So far, looking back on the thread, it's a mixed review....some seem to like it, some not so much.

I went full Progressive on my Road Glide (Monotubes and 944 Rear) and I really like the setup....especially the front Monotubes did wonders for me.

I've got a stock Street Bob that I commute on and for shorter weekend rides, I'm looking to improve on the suspension cause as-is, way to soft for my liking, am I'm not heavy.
