I find that reqardless of the windshield, the angle is important to prevent buffeting. Just like an automobile . I have a quick release touring windshield on my street bob. The brackets that harley make leave the windshield to far out. Go to Rifle windshield and use their brackets to get your windshield parrell to the fork tubes. Makes a big difference.

I run the same windshield as Jack Russell. Just returned from a 4800 km roadtrip. It helps keep the wind off your chest and bugs out of your face.
