Is Tuner Needed?

This may be a case of leave well enough alone.
Yes, the dealer set up will not give you the peak performance that you would get if you spent the money and did it properly with a aftermarket tuner and Dyno tune.
BUT do you really need to spend several hundred if not thousand dollars to get an extra 3HP or 5HP. Well only you can answer that question, sounds to me that you are happy with what you have so just enjoy the ride.

I hear the "extra 3-5hp" arguement a lot when this subject comes up. I personally did my tuner and dyno tune to get the smoothness through every gear. (I could always feel a slight surge to it when crusing) The bonus was being able to use 6th gear more and a few more ponies.
