So...I dropped it yesterday, got cocky while riding on wet grass; locked up the brakes; it was more of a falling over...the only thing hurt was my pride....and my risers...one of the bolts stripped out and came out when riding home, and the bars are just ever so slightly bent...enough to where no one notices, but it drives me insane.
Perfect time to get those new bars I've been wanting...I'm not going to ask "Which should i go with, blank or blank?" But I am wondering...is there somewhere that has like a kit to where it has the cables and the bars, or at least a measurement chart... ex; if I get 8" bars, how long would my cables have to be?
I'd really like it all in just one kit; to where I can just replace them all without having to worry about seeing if my math is right, or the clearance...
What kinda bike do you have, I would imagine that almost all the Dyna's would be able to fit the 8" bars without needing to change much at all, but I could be wrong.
Hill Country Customs has kits and so does Burly Brand, but again I think theseare only for apes.

02 FXD. I was hoping to switch to some tbars, but I wouldn't mind some apes if I found a good price.
But what length cables will I need? This is my dilemma.
Not sure what bars you have on now, but I have heard just going to basic 12 inch apes with only 1 inch risers do not need any new cables. BUT it varies from bike to bike. If anything, find a person that has the exact setup you want and ask them what they have.
