Just got my heavy breather air cleaner in the mail. Want to install my self. Just curious as how to do this. Is it as simple as Un bolt the old ac and bolt on new ac?
My thoughts since you ask. The bolts that hold the original on the throttle body are locktite red from ones I have messed with. I make sure my torx is tight and hit them with my small impact. I have see threads come out on one that someone else did. If you are not use to dealing with loctite and aluminum, pay a good experience mechanic. That throttle body is $600. This is the one that was stripped. Like others say, to me it's simple and takes an hour (10 minutes work and 50 admiring the work)

Yes and when it's out and you install the new parts remember not to over-tighten the main bolts or the smaller ones that hold the element on. Those may be chromed but they are made of thin aluminum.
