are these loud? right now i have my center caps punched out and im on a budget and i want louder and a little more throaty sound what yall think?? do they make the bct baffle for the v/h straight shots?? anyone heard them??
Yep,they're pretty loud, sound especially good at idle when the bike's cold, nice cackle to it.
Believe I saw a set of SE II's with BCT baffles included for two hundred bucks in our classifieds a day or two ago. Baffles themselves sell for about one thirty.
I have SE2s with BCT baffles. Yes they're louder, but to me they're not too loud. They seem to idle louder than most and the initial crack of ignition is pretty cool. At speed, they're not much louder than most, but the sound is much deeper and bass tones are omnipresent so they seem louder.
I have the SE II's with BCT baffles. Yep! Loud, but not obnoxious. I live in a quite burb and no complaints. People love the sound of a Harley sounding like a Harley.

I just installed a set in my SEIIs about an hour ago; ktm did a very good job of describing the sound - me like!
