Brake light always on

Sometimes it's not a switch at all.
I recently had the front master cylinder start sticking which caused the light to stay on. I could push the lever away from the grip and the light would go out.

Well finally had time to take it in to get checked, when it comes to electrical I'm a complete idiot. Between work and putting a pool in just haven't had the time to do anything.
Shop called me this afternoon, I also had an issue where I kept blowing the headlight fuse. Figured it was a chaffed or rubbed wire on that issue, which was correct.
Brake light issue was an incorrect light bulb in the tour pack. I know I replaced one earlier this year, they said it was the wrong bulb in there that was causing the light to stay on. I'll pick her up tomorrow if work doesn't go nuts. On call till Monday so after that it's time for some riding!
