Transport mode
Following instructions in the owners manual to the letter for setting security system to 'transport mode' but it's not working. Anyone else have this problem and found a solution?

Yes. I may have figured it out. The owners manual says the turn signals will blink "once" to indicate it is in transport mode. Mine blink three times, but after setting it I took the fob to another location and them moved the alarm did not activate.
This is a new bike, and will be transporting it soon. Don't want to,arrive at destination with a dead battery!

Turn ignition switch on then off, press both signal buttons and the signal lamps will light once (as you press the signal buttons), but... a few seconds later the signal lamps will blink three times (the manual doesn`t tell you that), it caused me some confusion too.
Graham: If you disconnect the battery, the alarm siren will sound off, it has its own battery...
