I have a 2014 electra glide FLHTK and my battery was dying so I tried to jump started from the factory tender lead. Bad idea: now my heater grips don't work, the fog lights don't work, the tender lead doesn't work and the fairing power port outlet doesn't work. I changed the fuse and one relay but no luck. I replaced the battery and the bike runs fine. But I still haven't found a solution to fixed the issues I caused by jump starting it.
Do you have the accessory update harness for your grips? If so, there should be a fuse in it. Not sure which fuse you replaced but sounds like there are a couple more that need to be. Check them all including the one in the battery tender harness.
Yes, I checked all the fuses on the left side panel inside the fuse box. I took the front fairing out and couldn't find any fuses around there. Do you know where else this model might have fuses? Thanks
Battery tender is part of the main harness, you may have smoked part of it you need to inspect it and repair it. https://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche...A%20LIMITED%20[KE]%20ELECTRICAL%20-%20MAIN%20WIRING%20HARNESS%20ABS%20(FAIRING%20MODE LS)%20-%208

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
Hi. How you doing. Did you figure this out or what you do to fix. I had the exact same scenario. I have a 2015 Electra Glide ultra classic. Man any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 20A P&A fuse powers everything mentioned in the first post. A while back someone did the same thing and kept blowing the P&A fuse, It turned out that the switch pack for the Auxiliary Lamps was the culprit. The switch pack has a little indicator light that shorted when he jumped the bike with the battery tender connector. See if your fuse is blown, replace it and if it blows again unplug the connector from the back of the switch and see if the fuse will stay intact.
Just an FYI: besides the fact that the wiring in the tender pigtail is much too small to jump start the bike, if the battery tender alligator clip adapter is connected to the tender pigtail on the bike the result will be a backwards connection...
