Default Charging Voltage

Good evening. I ride a 2011 FLHTC. It has a Cycle Electric stator and voltage regulator. My question is: I read the bike should be putting out 14.3-14.8 volts @75*F and 3600 rpms. Will this voltage go down slightly when the temperature dips into the low 60’s and below?

TIA

I doubt temperature will affect it a lot. Maybe some but when it warms up running, it's still pretty warm. With a charged battery and the lights on, most run there. I bet if you could kill lights, it would drop to 13.5 or so.
Test rpm for stock is 2000. But modern Harleys' are all in by 1500 or so. What you see after that is regulator control depending on battery charge.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll watch it. I think I am being paranoid. Leaving for Daytona min a few mins so if it doesn’t work out I’ll sort it out. Starts and runs fine. No codes. I was just watching the values thru the FuelPack app and thought it strange.

If it's below 15 and at least a little above 12.8 all is good.

Harley put a light on oil and charge for a reason. They don't want you paranoid. It's those tin men who keep the paranoia alive.
