Got my bike back from getting my handle bars powder coated and I noticed that when my acc is on, ALL might lights are lite up...and if I depress the brake pedal or squeeze the front brake handle...no brake lights come on.
If I remove the 15A LIGHTS fuse, I lose all lights but if I depress the brakes, all the lights lite up. I can hear the brake relay click with both brakes so I have ruled out relay /brake switchs.
I have a feeling that the wiring in the fairing that needed to be resoldered after the handle bars were done has been crossed somewhere. The shop is useless so I'd rather not take it back and have them touch it again.
Does anyone know what the wiring diagram is in the fairing re: running lights/brake lights etc so that I can try and track down were the mess was made?
Ok Are the bars wired internally. What size bars ?
There is a service information portal for HD that wile show the wiring diagrams to the stock set up.
One of folks here can give you a link to it. Where I'm at i can't right now.
From your post , ALL might lights are lite up...and if I depress the brake pedal or squeeze the front brake handle...no brake lights come on.
Please try to explain this a little better.

WP
Yes bars are wired internally...14" bars.
Meaning when the fuse is in, and the bike is on ACC, there is no change in the brake light when I depress the pedal or handle...only when I pull the fuse (kills the lights) and then I pull the brake lever does the brake light (along with all the other lights) lite up.
