load equalizer

Default load equalizer

having LED fog/passing lights and turn signals installed on my 2020 street glide. do i need a load equalizer?

I don't believe it's necessary on a 2020, just might need the BCM to be flashed at the dealer.

may just get one for just in case. have no and will not take any of my bikes to a dealer unless there's a recall.

Probably not, just turn the 4 way flashers on for about 5 minutes and the BCM should reset to the turn signal LEDs. Passing lights are no issue.

Steady state LEDs are no issue, it is the blinking rate that is affected when you go from incandescent to LED that is the issue, different resistance for the blink rate. BCM should compensate as you have a CAN bus wire system. Turning the 4 way flashers on will let the BCM compensate for the resistance change.

I knew there was a way. The BCM will learn if you follow the advice given.

On some setups there is no way the BCM can "learn" so you might need to install the equalizer. Good one is made by Custom Dynamics
