Default P0523 Code

Getting a recurring P0523 code on my 2017 HD Road Glide. Have tried to clear code and it comes back on restart of bike, have replaced the oil pressure switch its talking about, connector seems good going to the pressure switch. Not sure what to check on the wire side of things besides breaks or stuff like that in the cable... can I test continuity from somewhere to that connector? Or any other ideas? I have already checked grounds on bike and they are all snug and tight. Thanks!

Just for grins, I would pull the codes from the bike and see if that code is there. Reason being it’s showing as historical on the PV.

Check the wire from the sensor back to the ECM for a short to power. It's the violet/orange wire. The connector at the ECM under the seat is a common spot for corrosion or a loose pin. Check the voltage at the sensor connector with the key on. Should be about 5 volts, not battery voltage.

Also, make sure you used the correct replacement sensor. Some aftermarket ones can cause this. A mechanical gauge to verify actual oil pressure wouldn't hurt to rule out a real engine issue.
