Wow nice bike.

I don't know what kind of switch you have. Anytime you interrupt the ignition the bike stops firing and you pump gas into the exhaust. Turn the key on that gas ignites.
A Harley key the ignition strip. Goes between lights/run and run.
Some Aftermarket just have contacts.
The backfire does not hurt anything I will turn mine off then back on to get rid of tailgaters once in a while;-).

I did catch that freak tryin to steal it one time.
Looks alot better then when I bought it!!!
