Scott, just wanted to let you know the swap from the 888 to the 9F did the trick..I rode her home last Sat from Joe's and the first thing i noticed was the throttle response difference. The best way to describe it, is that the power is right there now instead of having to "give it some more" to get there. It was a balmy 25 degree day so i didnt want to give her everything but she wants to pull and pull and pull..Its a beautiful thing, the next day there was snow on the ground and i took her out for the first time again yesterday.. ..
Definitely hit it on the head Scott.. Thanks again for the quick turnaround..You guys really are a class act.
Im not sure if Joe sent you the sheets or not but here they are..I love how long the 9f carries and as you can tell nothing was lost as the low end..
Yea I really can't say enough about the hillside team and the tune by Joe ...I would like to think I know enough about what would work well together/doesnt work well together..the truth of the matter is to let your engine builder do what he does best and let him suggest what to use based on what you want ..the first go around I told him I wanted something on the tamer side of things...which well even though it wasn't that "tame" I guess I had the bug and wanted a little more...when I said that to Scott he was quick to recommend the 9f and the other necessary head work to complete the package...I really lost no low end but gained everywhere else and the added throttle response is honestly probably what I like the most ...but boy that top end feels goood too...😁
No drop in that torque curve at all! Gotta be a blast to ride. I've had a few conversations via PM with Scott at Hillside and he seems like a straight up guy.
I as well have had work done a few times with Scott and I agree, he is on the money. I also really like your tune it carries a smooth response with a beautiful curve.. long and powerful.....
