My by monthly checks
Pulled air cleaner cover off today and got a suprize!! Then checked oil level and coolant level. This is what I foundđ* oil level down almost 1qt, coolant low and milk in the breathe head bolt on front cylinder. On my '14 Limited
Humidity would not have a factor after the engine temp is at a constent for the length of time it takes me to get home.
Look close at the breather bolt there is antifreeze on it
I was under the impression that the coolant passege was no wear neer the breather passege. Besides that once the coolant pressurised it would flood the intake via the breather passege. Best of luck.
Combustion process produces a lot of moisture and once engine is hot, usually goes out exhaust as steam and you never see it. However, it could get caught in plumbing of vent. Looks a little like rusty water but if you say antifreeze, guess it's that. If so, also should be on dip stick. However, one case of here where Harley is now saying it will leak into engine from the pipe fitting cast into the head. There is a bunch of PDFs on water system repair problems. One is a dye test.

Still won't get into the pcv hose. Wrong side of the head. A crack at the exhaust seat and it could get into the combustion chamber. Still think it's nothing though but I've been wrong once or twice.
I understand the combustion process and creating condensation and heat getting rid of the condensation. But the loss of almost a quart of oil in 1000 miles is a little much.
I am just looking for any info or possible on going problems that others have had with the 103 wet heads

I would have thought same thing. However, Harley must have found it since it's in the manual. If it gets into cylinder in excess, it's going to drive past rings.
