I have an 06 FXDBI with an 88in motor that I'm looking to upgrade. I was hoping in the end to have a 103in, but it seems most the kits for my year stop around 96in. Can someone point me in the right direction or drop some knowledge on if this is possible and how to go about it?
As stated 98 ci is about the max without boring the cases.. SnS supposedly has a 100 ci kit out tho.. The only way you get to 103/107 is to bore the cases (104/107 ) or stroke the motor to 4 3/8 which requires replacing the crank.

Thanks for any info. Nait.
Largest you can go w/o removing the cases from the chassis is 98".
A 98" Dyna build, if wanted, can push off some VERY good power.
We have several combinations for those.

S&S makes a 100" kit that they say will bolt on. Fuel Moto has a 98" kit that looks nice and has everything you need except heads(Cams and new style plate with tensioners and oild pump I think), I have read that Hillside has a kit with heads cylinders and pistons, but have not verified that myself. I have an 01 road glide and am trying to decide which one I want to do. The MM EFI is my downfall, so I think I am going to convert to carb. Mikun i42 or HD SE 44MM I have not decided yet.

Carb is a good way to go.. Both of those carbs are good at 100 ci you could even go to a 45 mik.. The CV44 won't have the flow of the HSRs but it will deliver excellent overall performance without the rattle or sensitivity to popping on decel depending on the exhaust and may a little better milage.

We have semi-completed cores on the shelf in prep, for exchange.
Happy to help.

My all bore 107" CV SE44mm carbed '02 FLHT makes 124TQ/110HP and gets, on average, 38mpg. If I do a controlled 100 mile run on the interstate and do not exceed 70mph, I can squeeze out 40mpg but........................... The CV carb was not difficult to tune; took about 3 pulls on the dyno to dial it in.
