So as I've posted before I'm in the process of tearing down my 82 Wide Glide and need another answer. After taking off the primary cover I found these three washers lying in it. They measure 1 3/8" in outer diameter and the inner diameter is 3/4'' , also they're made of copper.
Where did they come from?

The end of the Starter Drive that rides in the Bearings in the Primary Cover (at the top Left of your pic)

Is there anything holding them in, or do they ride against the primary cover ? I can't find an image of them in the manual I have that shows them. Thanks.

They were on the end of starter jackshaft there shuould be one maybe they used three.
