Performance tricks that work!
Rules 1--three per post, if you wish to list more.
do so next in line .
We can all steal each other's ideas.
I would like to know what others do here
2, You have had to actually do this not read about it.
My best ideas have come from others and will gladly give them credit
For starters- start-
I have read a lot of Joe Mondello. I think that has been one of my biggest tricks as applied performance and IC science.
3- things that work and cost nothing but time is-
1, -Check your valve seats! We could get into numbers-, but for simple,-
make sure there are no 'proud edges" sticking out. I can guarantee there is!
Smooth them off flush with the port.
2, -Make a ponty bow on the guide bosses and depending on your application make the guide no longer then they have to be.
3, -Install OS valves - on a EVO the same seats are used. Again depending on how long you want it all to last (trade for power)
set the seats narrow and way high.
Your turn.
No you guys are truly missing the point
As in-
Porting where?
raised ports?
sized where?
what kind of cam .
Anyone can add displacement-I was hoping we could exchange some real ideas what was actually done,
What actually worked in the details, not the globs of added parts so much to get more power.
I did my best to show an example above, - detailed example.
Your tricks ?
