Looks like Wiseco's got some new slugs on the market:

Say what you will, of all the engines I've built I've had the best luck with Wiseco pistons.

Yeah they had to give the pistons a new name after the 2mm oil ring fiasco.

Can you please shine a little light on that? I've read about it here but don't know what the issue was.

I've got a set of S&S stroker piston for an 89" Evo that have the 2mm oil ring and now I'm wondering if they're worth keeping.

the 2mm oil ring is too thin & didn't work very well at all, most others (like CP) are 3 mm,

These new pistons are 3mm. It's a minimum imo.

hey hrdtail78, l am about to purchase some Wiseco 10.1 pistons for my Evo build, and like the more affordable price of the tracker pistons # K0216P1
... Looks like they now made in better quality with the larger 3mm oil ring
Thanks Adam
