It’s not a number that is set. When idling, the kpa will hover around a certain number— what does it read when idling?
Maybe I should ask what is the manifold absolute pressure in kpa when idling?
They are installed all installed properly. I'm waiting for FM to get back to me with their thoughts on the tune and log I sent them, but I'm still trying to figure out what I can on my own. I will continue to autotune and see what happens...rain here today and tomorrow so I'm in a holding pattern.
If your setup is 96", standard chamber volume of 86-86cc, OEM head gasket thickness, normal deck height for that motor, flat top pistons and SE255 cams, your 196/205 CCP numbers are too high. CCP for that configuration should be around 185psi, so something is off. Could be a bad gauge, or the configuration is different from the above listed combo. Maybe missing something but still think it a tune issue based in the symptoms in the OP.
I'm wondering if the compression numbers would indicate a cam issue. I'm thinking of pulling the cover off and checking but would like to avoid that if the numbers don't indicate that much of a variance. I thinking it is a tune issue but if I have to open it back up I will.
Yeah, you are probably right about the exhaust...gonna change up this winter but just cant swing it right now. I did a few autotunes on the bike with the stock cams and it really snapped it up, then of course I immediately took those cams out and put the 255's in. I am waiting to see what FM says and I may just take a look at the cams tomorrow so I can sleep well. I aslo dont understand how the O2 sensors can possibly be connected backwards and I cant locate the plugs under the side cover. I would imagine if I disconnected one of them I would get message on the tuner as to which one is not connected/sending.
if you started with a base map that was not for the 255 cams, that is your issue. from reading your post it sounds like you installed the base map for your original cams, ran it for a bit, then changed the cams. if you did not install a base map for the 255 cams, it's gonna take a long time to get it anywhere close with the auto-tune feature. if this is the case, get in touch with FM and get them to get you a base map for the 255 cam configuration.

I am using a map for the 255 setup. when I bought the PV I had FM put a map in for that. I did send a log and tune to them for review and am just waiting for a reply.
