I wish l had of kept the 10.1 pistons I had on order in the first place!!! Doh. The ev27 was on the border line of going with 9.5 pistons 10.1 pistons. Some people scared me away from the 10.1s hence why I now have the 9.5s which turns out will actually be ok with the 27..... But I'm also looking at the DME 500 cam with a slightly later intake closing of 38 and he says it does well up to 9.8 comp.... I would definitely have to use 10.1 slugs for that cam, and I could probably still get away with 10.1 slugs even with the ev27 if I leave the heads stock at 84 / 85cc or whatever they come from the factory at?
I could possibly send the pistons back to be swapped over, but shipping from Oz to US and back might not be worth it.... Hmmm decisions.
