Lifter blocks tells you it's an Evo engine, vin says post 92. What's inside is anybodies guess till it get opened up, 80" 88" 95" could be any of them and look stock on the outside as in the pictures.
That's what I love about my Evo, 96" on the inside and looking stock on the outside.. Yea baby...

understood but there was speculation that it was a hybrid with tc top end

Couldn't be, valve train alignment is different between the 2 engine designs. Get a clear side view of both engines and look close at the lifter blocks and the angles on the pushrod tubes. While it could be done, it isn't a simple bolt in swap. Lotta **** would have to be reworked and a few things the cam special made to get it to work right.
Welp, cleaned the carb good enough, I guess. No fuel comes out the overflow, but still no good on getting it started. I'm out of luck until tomorrow, as it will have to sit on the battery charger again all night to have enough juice to try again.
The plugs weren't pretty when I pulled them, so I guess I'll order some and try that next.
Try cleaning them with a brass brush. It should start if you`re getting any spark at all.
Does the OP know he is getting spark? A new battery is probably going to be required to get the bike started; I doubt the current battery will get the job done.
As best I can tell, no spark. Waiting on new, known good plugs to really verify though.
Guess I'll just go ahead and order a battery too though. Even on the battery tender junior for 24 hours it only has a few attempts in it before it's got no juice.
The fact my dad had the battery tender in the bag he kept on the bike makes me wonder what sort of electrical issues the bike has...
FYI, system has to have 11. something volts minimum to get spark, even if the battery shows good voltage it will drop below that turning the starter over if it's on the weak side, starter will suck it down hard. Put a meter across the battery terminals and hit the button see what the voltage drop is when grinding.
Current state of this mess... Working on getting to the point I can try to get the broken stud out, or take it to a machine shop once the virus stuff ends...
EDIT: Also, do I need to buy all new gaskets for everything due to disassembly?
