OK...... Now I feel better...... He said he was thinking about something else on the phone the other day when he was talking about the 2.020" valves. We're using 1.940" intakes. I told him, yeah.... that sounds a lot better! He apologized for scaring me though.
After looking at all the parts, it appears that between the old tired valve stem seals and wore out rings, we pretty much determined that those were the culprits of my 3 qts of motor oil per 5000 mile oil changes. The rest of everything else actually looked pretty damn good for 135,000 miles on it! Moving forward.........
And yes Pure Hybrid, same guy doing both heads and cylinders.......
