I need to correct myself: The EITMS starts adding fuel at 297° F. Sorry about that.

I do run an HD oil cooler that mounts between the down tubes and, so far it has been enough. If I ever need fan asssist, I will probably try the LaNale product.
I felt the same way after following his thread but in the end I bit the bullet and decided I had to protect my investment, wish it would have turned ot better for him

Oak Mountain Rider, did you ever get the bike tuned? Timing will effect heat as well as fuel

Yes, I believe it is rather well tuned, at last.

1/ Tune from Dynojet for Dyna 2006 with Andrews 26
2/ Last summer, and after big bore to 98 ci, I took the bike to a local tuner and got new VE-tables
3/ Then I autotuned these VE:s 3-4 times and pulled the spark advance 18 %

I tried different timings, like -12, -18, -24, -30, -36, -42 and -48 % just to see what happened. Finally I found the spot where the bike ran smooth. I feel this timing correlates well with the AFR which is set to 13:1 (idle) 14.2:1 (cruising).

Hoping to make things even more accurate, I will go with Target Tune this spring.

If I had to do it again maybe I would consider jaggs coolers on the down tubes. The harley coolers in front of volt reg are PIA when you want to do many things.

Well, you gotta do what you gotta do but no Love Jugs are in my future. I am glad to see that you are still interacting with me.

Am thinking about Jagg oil cooler with fan or Ultra Cooler with fan. Also considering Jimīs Airflow or the Love Jugs. Wards I cannot find where to buy.

Same here. At least blacked out their logo.
I just use the fans manual on/off switch. Turn on when I feel needed. Or go find some AC and a cold one

You won't find Wards; Love Jugs pretty much put Jason out of business. Like I said in my previous, I don't know the back story, if there is one, but that's the way I see it. Take a look at the LaNale unit; no personal experience but if I needed fan assist, I would try it out.
