I will be looking for tips/tricks; do'/dont's for the fuel system R/R. I have done the R/R on my old FLHT to adjust the float level but did not replace any components.
I have used fuel pump factory in the past for replacement parts, Super fast shipping and good customer service.

Thanks to everyone. It only took five days to figure out I have a fuel delivery problem; that's on me. Hope I can move faster once we know if fuel pressure is the root cause. Tool should be here by the end of the week; I should be able to post test results by the end of the week.

Got parts list together; $150 mas o menos. Thanks Mr Buell, I will check out the fuel pump factory.

Like I said above, the Ecu doesn't sense fuel pressure. It only primes by running for a few seconds and stops.. It won't continue if the pressure is not created. It assumes the pressure is there.

Only tips I know are to not mess with the fuel system days before you plan to take a long scheduled trip and buy a fuel pressure gauge..

How will the fuel pressure gauge measure pressure if I can't start the engine? Will I have to use starter fluid to get the engine to run for 5-10 seconds?

All you go to do is turn on the ignition. It should jump to about 55-58 psi when the pump runs. When the pump stops it should hold at above 52 psi for some time..

Got the Fuel Tool tester, connected it to the quick disconnect and then connected the male end of the supply line but that connection leaked fuel, a stream. Disconnected and reconnected several times but leaked every time. Pretty straight forward connection; hard to ***** it up. Waiting for a call back from Fuel Tool. BTW, guage did not move after pump primed but with the leak, that probably doesn't mean anything.

If you have a new drain plug O ring, you can dig out the one in the connector and replace with drain plug O ring..

I was thinking the same but will wait until I speak to Fuel Tool. I wonder if I can use their tool to R/R the o-ring?

I tried that on my `19 Electra Glide Standard, tried several o rings in fact, but it still leaked (they were not OEM o rings, they were 013 Viton o rings from McMaster Carr).

I found an o ring on ebay, worked perfect.

Remove the tank, flip it over and you can easily see the oring, just use a 90 degree pick to remove it.
