No, I have 4 Husqvarna releases, all leak inside, not in the threads. I know because I plugged two of them with glue, and then they stopped leaking (e. g. no bubbles in the soap water) and I got only 5 and 5.5 % leakage. Kibblewhite look exactly the same as Husqvarna, they are just 10-20 times more expensive. (But thanks, anyway.)

I want to add the tests were made at 30 psi and perhaps they need much more to seal. I can test with soap water later when I have assembled and can make the starter running.

I have some that look like these but where knock offs. Can't seem to find the cheap versions anymore.

When your doing the leak down test, what are you setting air pressure to?

The compressor gives 6 bar (87 psi) and when I adjust the tool to 0 % it says 30 psi. So the pressure is 30 psi into the engine.

It was a bit noisy from the valve train at first, but it became much better when the oil started to circulate. Still running on the canned tune (far too rich). But overall I feel very happy with this cam.

I want to thank everybody in this thread and I wish you all a great riding season. (For you in the southern hemisphere I wish you a great mechanic season).

Best Regards
Oak Mountain Rider
