We've used the E-Z's here since they came to market, and used them in 124" engines with compression as high as 11.8 cr.

Had a 09 RK Classic with 103 and 551 easy starts loved it just did the same to my new FLHTC and went with the new 557 cam which is built for the Tri-Glide and very impressed its not a hot-rod but it gets up and boogies with the 110s and its a heavy Bike.
This time I went with the gear drive kit works a lot better.
98 hp and 113 ft./lb. not bad for a Bagger.
one slight negative is you cant do a compression check with the easy start if you need to .
Never had any problem with the idle I've got min set at 940 sounds sweet

just removed the stage 2 heads, tw 555 cams, installed new cams and install stage 4 heads and raised 4cc pistons and new 55mm hpi in November so no dyno yet. old setup was 108hp/112tq.
Regardless of whether you use ez start cams or compression releases, you are still limited on the amount of corrected compression that you can build into the engine. That is the real question.
I was wondering about the EZ start cams when I did my build. I got conflicting opinions locally and ended up doing a standard S&S 570 with compression releases. It means a lot to see Kirby, Scott, and others say how well they work. Might go that direction with my next build...
