I'm running 48's in a 2005 TC88 with stock heads. No problems, the beehive springs will accommodate the lift.

Did you go to the 48's from stock? How do you like them?

Yes I went from stock to 48's. Good cam for an 88. Lost of torque down low and improvements across the entire range. Smooth power delivery.

the 48`s will provide power down low,any lower you really wouldn't want to be "stabbing" it anyway (about 1800-4500+,higher with mild headwork)

yea i run the 204's, dont get them, they are ok but they start climbing at 1500rpm till 2400rpm then they have a small dip untill 3000rpm then they climb again and at 3500rpm you'll be at the same amount u been at 2400rpm climbing till 4500rpm then it goes down again it doesnt go down much but there is a 15 foot pound torque difference between the dip and the max torque output.

according to some here the 48's are good so i might try those when i want to get rid of these
