there is only one reason longevity and superior quality in the materials they use.
ive been using ngk plugs for over 30 years and found if you have a motor that loves to foul plugs like my old Suzuki lt250r ngk is the way to go. and ive tried lots of different plugs I usually would get about 8hr out of a ngk plug. with champion about 45min bosh about 3hr and autolite around 4hr.
my shovel head would eat a softail utolite plugs once a month and now with the ngk plugs every six months.
will ngk plugs make more hp? who cares they last longer....

They won't, you need cams and compression to make 100HP...

its not sparkplugs that will get you 3 to 5 HP - its in the valves in the cylinder heads and its called Back Cutting - its been around from the days of an old racer and garage owner called Smokie Yunick and even earlier back to the day of moon shining accross the south - do some searching what we do will be different than what someone else does and what gains they get might be different then what we get - my shop won 3 USA national championships road racing buells and others

sorry for the Hi jack --

first picture is what is done - second it what it looks like - and 3rd is when the TDC lift has very big numbers like 226 X 216 you also have to do the top at angle

Default fellas, fellas........

I was only havin a little fun, and absolutly I'm still searching for that illusive 3hp. I sent some specs out to have a cam ground for me it should pick up my velocity and ccp. We'll see what happens. Should be the end of March some time.

well the best guy around is black widow cams - they are at the leading edge of what it takes and he wont make you a cam that wont do what you actually need - Not what you think you want

I believe everything I read on the Internet, because if it wasn't true it wouldn't be posted. I have read great things about Pulstar Pulse Plugs. They emit a 1,000,000 watt plasma spark delivering up to 12% more horsepower and torque, and at the same time up to 10% better fuel economy.

Well, yeah I guess they need a small fusion reactor hooked up to them to deliver the 1 megawatt. I am trying to source doc's Mr. Fusion from "Back to the Future", as that would give my plugs 1.21 jiga watts.

'Pulstar Spark Plugs, Platinum Pulse, Iridium Pulse
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sh...s/pulstar.html
Compared to standard spark plugs, PulstarŽ pulse plugs deliver up to 10% better fuel economy and up to 12% more horsepower and torque. Using a "fine-wire ..."

Oh yeah...a fine detail. "0" meets the definition of "up to 12% more". As well, so does "-30%"... As "up to" only means "less than", as in you will get less. But these are small details.
