looks like the Mustang Vintage.
I did the same except I got the Vintage solo and seperate rear pad for the shovel. I cut off the front forks on the bottom of the seat and just use the side mount brackets that the solo comes with. Uses well nuts to go in the frame tube. Can mount solo or with passenger pad. I also did the same thing with the Mustang Cobra solo and matching rear pad. I also have the Mustang Fastback that is made specifically for the 85/86. I also have the HD accessory pillow/button seat for the 85/86 they offered back in the day. Much more comfortable than the stocker. Some people mistakenly think the original seat is 2 piece (it looks like it could be), but it is 1 piece.
Unfortunatley I don't have the stock original seat anymore (long story), but I was bidding on one that was in new condition last Thursday. I got outbid and it went for $355.
My factory seat is in great condition and tucked away in the mustang box. Almost bought the fastback at local bike shop,New on counter top. He ordered it for costumer and got screwed, said can have it for $125 cash, not enough pad for OL so there it still sits.
Personally, I think that a 1980 black and flame wideglide is the standard by which all Harley's are measured. I realize that this statement will offend some folks but, when I was in high school this was the dream bike. I still have the dream of finding a relatively unmolested evo wideglide and having the tins painted like the 1980.
