Biketronics BT1004 Died?
Last fail near the end of riding season the Sony stereo in my '94 bagger quit working. Just put the "old *****" up for the winter and didn't think much about it until I was going to get it out for the summer, and thought I better troubleshoot the problem. 1st checked the fuses and connections. Took the voltmeter and had no power at the radio. I have power going into the Biketronics unit but not out to the radio. It appears to me the the problem lies in the Biketronics unit. I installed the pigtail that came with the radio and bypassed the Biketronics and the Sony works fine. The biketronics is only a couple years old and cost quite a bit. Is this a typical lifespan? The bagger gets driven very little, mostly the '13 trike. Just wonder what others have experienced. Thx, Bear
