MY 1994 FLHTC is fitted with a supertrapp system and I would like to change it for a dual system...now I came across a new CVO dual system, all complete for little money but I've no idea if it would fit?
Does the cross-over go under the engine behind the transmission? If so the later bikes have a mounting point under there.
I've never done it. Will be interested to know.
I'm guessing you're going to have to tap off the sensor holes with the right size of bolt. Then ask if it's one with a catalyst in the 2-into-1 collector.
If so, it can be cut out; or bought already cut out.
This is a 2-into-1 where the rear pipe sweeps forward and then around the clutch actuator cover, right?
you will have sealing problems at the exhaust on the heads. probably the rear. I have done many exhausts on my bike and ranges from shovels to 2012. anything before 1993 has been a challenge to get everything just right, most times I went back to stock headers with newer slipons. not saying that it cant be done, but be prepared for some leaking issues at the heads. this has been with exhausts from 95 up.
It may be possible to make it fit, I'm sure someone over in Touring has done it, but it isn't a bolt-on. The exhaust port angles are the same as on our Evos.

I'm willing to bet it is just a mounting bracket thing.
