Throttle/idle cable issue

try a differant throttle grip,or cable,make sure it has the litt brass farells on throttle grip,
trouble shoot it starting at carb,
cables maybe on wrong,(front on grip to right or front on carb)
cable sliped off its little groove ,not alighned cable length not adjustable range
forever i couldnt get mined to behave , took all apart and installed it with brass farells
they may fall out during install also romoved carb to install cable and changed a cable and finally snaps back quick and hard ,if the cable is frayed close to the end will bind up a little.
