Just some food for thought...sometimes carbs get "tweaked" and "tweaked" and "re-tweaked"...by different people, prior owners, sometimes creep on their own...you need to reset it to stock, "zero it out"..and start over again. In other words..turn in the screws all the way to bottom..and then dial out to stock specs. See how she runs. And then personal "tweak" from there.

I'd do this each spring on my Shovel. Just cuz..as the summer and fall went on..I'd always mess with it.
Yep I have done this and just waiting for snow to melt so I can get it out for a bit of a ride (warmed up ) and try to dial it in. I also have a 28 intermediate I'm going to try.
Finally got some descent weather so I was able to get the bike out and warmed up so as to setup the accelerator pump. After changing fouled plugs and using s&s site settings this is what I've found.
-I'm trying to start it cold with full choke on and it won't start that way so I changed the intermediate from a 29.5 to a 28 and still the same although if I go with less choke it will start.
- after setting up the fuel/air best I could according to docs and vids on the s&s site I moved onto the accelerator pump
- accelerator pump no matter where I try to adjust either from seated and outward 1/4+ or - I still get a stumble, I can't get that nice accelerator pump rev on like in the s&s video , I continue to get a stumble
Any suggestions for this continuous stumble?
The main jet is a 72 and I'm attempting to set this up with the breather and cover on if that makes a difference.
Thanks
