Default Dyno Update.....

I'm happy with the results but was looking for more... I thought with the Wego III I would be able to dial in the AFR better than I did. I was able to get it close but not optimal and because of I fell a little short of my expected numbers. The AFR from 3500 rpm up to 6500 varied between 14.2 and 14.8.

The shop I took to suggested one up on the main and one down on the intermediate. I am currently running a .0295/68 with a 110 on the thunder jet...

According to the dyno sheet would you guys agree on going to a .028/70 and leaving the thunder jet alone?

I think with the jet change I might hit my expected numbers..

One more thing I really Don't think this pipe is truly helping me..... LSR C-style 2-1

Thanx Bob..

All that work and you still didn't get your 100 hp goal.
Damn shame that...

This is how I was taught..

1st Tune WOT
2nd Tune needle (Steady State / Part throttle)
3rd slow jet

Wack it wide open if it's 12.8 - 13.5 your main is fine if not jet up or down, you can't pick the needle until you have the hole size correct. 4th or 5th WOT and check the AFR.

Griz

Not really, This is my tune not a dyno tune. I'm pretty confident with it properly tuned I will hit my expected numbers. Unfortunately it's gonna be a little longer.... No biggie... I have plenty of time....

I figure if you stroke it then you should get there easily.
I think Prot is bringing a 3 hp add on as a door prize to the meetup!!!

FWIW you would leave me in the dust with your current build!!!!

Thanx,

Honestly I'm just gonna tune it properly on a dyno and then that's it. I can only do so much before It will all become an extreme obsessive journey.... And I'm getting tired not to mention broke.....

And I'll take the meet up door prize it if it's an easy bolt on....

I have had Hyacinth dyno tuned twice now, originally with TDs, then my Supermegs. I have no idea what carb changes they may have made, but have a wide smooth torque curve, with no dip. I can't help thinking that LSR are aimed at more serious tunes than our bikes and a Supermegs would probably serve you better.

Look at your Zippers crossover circuit chart again, the tuner is looking at the rich mixture right after 2000 rpms and leaning out after 3000, that is the int to main crossover area. His theory is drop the intermediate one to get the AFR's leaner at the beginning of the crossover and raise the main to richen the 3000 area which may get your 13.2-13.5 when blending with the T-jet with the same jet. I think your dyno guy is putting you in the right direction with his recommendations, spiking the T-jet up is going to come in later in the afr's and no help below 4000 rpm's

You have a torque dip when hitting the throttle and usually a pipe causing that but a rich condition is also present right after the dip started, very possible the recommendation intermediate jet change will clean up the torque dip but not all of it. Think if you get some more fuel in the giddy up range those numbers are going to go up, the mid 14 afr's are going to hold it back
