Default Paint Help.......

I stumbled across this website while trying to find the original color of my 77 FXE. Thought it might help some one...

No, I just received in the mail info from Harley Davidson with some of the build specs of my 77 and was looking up the color. It originally came in Brilliant Red and was sold out of Spitzies in Schenectady NY... for $3400.

Sorry.......

It's still upstate, 220 miles away. I have not been up there since I bought it. I hope to get up there within the month of May to bring it home... So till then no pics. I only decided to look into the info on it when Architect in another thread mentioned how he found out about his 69 and it just sparked an interest due to the fact that winter is still here..

It is and it isn't.. I find it hard to believe myself... I do know that the day I do go up to get will definitely be a memorable one.

Glad to hear you are not changing it. That shovel is sweet. Back in my teen years I had a chance to buy an xlch that had all chrome tins. I was making like $4 an hour! It was a dream to own that bike. First Harley I ever sat on. I helped the guy try to start it. Left a hell of a bruise on my calf....

Was it one of those "here let me show you how" scenarios that left the bruise? ...LOL..... we've all had similar coincidences...... but good memories......
