Default Coils

In reading every thread I could find I'm confused about the coils. I see people are either a fan of or against single fire. Are the Dyna DC6-5 twin fire ii coils any good or are they the same as the Ultima coils that don't seem to last? I have a new dual fire coil in hand but could return it and get a twin fire ii for the same price. Opinions? Only thing I see people agree on is that if a single fails while riding you can still get home where dual you can not.

Basically the most reliable coil is the stock one from my experience and single or dual fire really makes no difference to performance, it is snake oil based on erroneous assumptions....the extra spark is not wasted nor does it compromise the active spark, it is designed to work that way and Limey bikes did it that way for like, ever.

BTW, if you have single fire and ride home on 1 cylinder you could do more harm than good. If you are that desperate to get home just carry a spare coil and watch something else **** itself and leave you stranded.

So basically whatever I have is fine and not worth going single fire even if there's no price difference. That's what I thought but since I was equal either way figured I'd ask. Thanks guys.

I don't have any interest in single fire. Do enough research and you'll find that there is no advantage and it's geared toward those who just want something different for different's sake.
