OK, so I couldn't find a shot of a 1993 FLSTC mount and I didn't feel like going out to the garage, moving the bike around and taking a shot so I filched one off the net that wasn't exactly the same. But I reckon there's no foolin' yooz guys!
Anyway, here's the nut I was after. As you can see I had a narrow opening between the rear crash bar mount and the bottom of the chrome belt guard.
I didn't have a crowsfoot wrench and neither did any of the stores around me so I cobbled one up and it worked just fine.

Yup, it not only gets the job done but it gives you a story and a memory about how and why you did what you did. I enjoy that more than, "I went to the store, bought a wrench, came home and used it on something."
^^^ Good thought and I will take your advice but I just finished putting everything back in my garage after completely repainting the ceiling, walls and floor and my green Loctite is one of a couple of things I haven't "found" yet.

Yup, I love coming up with a solution to a problem like that. Of course, that was my profession for 39 years. I was a tool and die designer for an aerospace company. Solving that kind of problem was what I did for a living.
