Thanks Kingglide,

I guess next time i post im hoping the engine will be out of the frame and on the bench well the stand i made lol,

Any advice on getting the engine out? Someone said rubber mounted was a bitch to get out? Im thinking me and my bro will lift it out by hand?

You and your brother lifting it out by hand should be no problem.

Truly it not the hardest thing you have or will ever do.
The block, (engine halves,) cylinders and head will not be 200 lbs

Hey guys.

Just st a little update for yall. Engine was lifted out tonight and onto a makeshift stand , so the strip down will begin soon

learnt a a lot already but I’m thinking the taking apart is a dam sight easier than the puttin back together lol.

Other than the sprocket nut and clutch nut. it is all real standard stuff that most would have.

Ok guys, so the engine is out and the me and my dad have stripped her down and split the cases so.....

ill lll include a video. It’s not the best but..: The big end has gone , scored the barrels the pistons, I’m guessing the crankshaft will be fooked also and basically everything else lol.

So now I’ll need to weigh up what the best way forward is.

1. Rebuild this engine with new parts

2. Buy a new engine ... something like a S&S with more power

3. Buy a used or refurbished standard engine

any input would be great.
