Not saying you wasted anything. Truth be told it's not what most think it is. .. if they work great... Great.... I just don't think anyone should be mislead... And I only reference this because I run a highly modified Evo and have had multiple issues even with the S&S lifters... It's about protecting your investment.....
Even though my bike is stock, I have a vested interest in making it run as long as possible. Problem with hydraulic lifters, is, no matter who made them, you never know if you have good ones without installing them and trying them.
This is will be my first try with aftermarket lifters, as I understand that Harley has discontinued the B lifters some years back and now sources them from Mexico under a C revision letter (still the same price, of course). Based on experience during my career, Im leery of Mexican manufacture.
