I have the factory service manual , however i am finding it a little cryptic.. Heres what it says....

Also would like someone to look at my chain adjuster, it looks like somebody has cut up some square plate washers, im not sure this is correct, or did somebody bodge this?

Daz
As mentioned you need a 1 1/2" socket for the compensator and a 1 3/16" socket for the clutch hub (left hand thread).
You won't need the spring compressor but you will need some snap ring pliers to get that clutch adjuster plate off.
Your chain adjuster is a Hayden M6.

so my chain adjuster is suppose to look like this? With these shins?

all off and out now. I think I’ll grab a pic of the chain adjuster tomorrow and see if you guys think it’s worn?

What you have is a Hayden M6 it's an aftermarket automatic chain tensioner.
The shims are how you adjust chain tension.
As for your shoe how deep are the grooves in it?
If they are deep get a new shoe and if they are light or not there then just put that one back in.

Hey guys,

so engines almost most ready for removal, I think all that’s left to do is unbolt it and somehow lift it out lol.

Then it it will be time to strip here down and see what’s what.

A few few questions I have if anyone has any experience I noticed a few things whilst stripping down what I have so far so....

2 plastic spacer type things inside primary? The went between outer and inner they looked knackered anyone have any idea? Pics enclosed

stator has very small amounts of metal on it stuck to the magnets is this normal?

on the inner primary on the face which sits against the engine. There is some kind of light sealant around the cut out?? There is a o ring on the engine side which makes sense but he sealant??

thats as far as I’ve got so far chaps

Most people I know just insert their favorite thread sealer.
If you have the back of the primary off epoxy the holes.
PS- I am sure you can buy them or make them too
