Thanks man, I was a little on the fence about it ,I think I'm alright with it, need to get on the road and see. One of my buddies doesn't like it there.

I think someone already mentioned the mount HD offers that fits on the top of the handlebar clamp, in case you don't like where it is.
someone mentioned using the tach to know when you're in high gear. My street glide actually has a little green 6 that lights up for that. Kinda handy sometimes.
