Not sure what’s wrong. 89 tour glide. Every 6 months or so the transmission starts to leak. It just started again. Is there something more going on then just seals? Any ideas what to look into?

Sorry! Some More info. Bike has the original 89 parts. About 30000 miles. I did the shifter seal and main shaft seal. It’s def coming out of the mainshaft area again.
In addition to the large main shaft seal, did you replace the quad seal? What about the small seal inside the 5th gear?
In the real world, I was told not to fill my tranny full, and that would lessen the chance of an oil leak. Not telling you to not to fill your tranny full, but that's what I do.
the splines on the pulley might be worn. if they are you'll never get the leak to stop and if you run it like that too long the splines on the main gear will be shot too.
Yes I did do
the quad seal. Not the fifth gear seal. The pulley is actually new. I went up a few teeth on that the last time it leaked.
I could try draining it some! It’s bound to happen on its own now
That little oil seal that seals the space between the main drive gear and mainshaft is often overlooked, folks don`t realize it is there and it drives them crazy because they think they have replaced all the seals...
It the pulley configuration the latest design, the upgrade that came out mid `94?
They updated that pulley design to give it more bite on the shaft, in addition to the locking plate to prevent the large nut from coming loose.Ask me how I know.
